Australian Saltwater Crocodile Skin
Crocodile leather is one of the most prestigious leathers used in the creation fashion goods. Understanding how to clean and care for your genuine crocodile skin product is an essential of ownership.
Crocodile skin is a natural leather and should not be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods, as it will dry out the leather and cause fading.
Store your crocodile leather in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Don’t fold or squash the leather while in storage. Allow it to rest naturally with plenty of space for natural aeration. Please use the box or dust bag to prevent dust from setting on its surface.
Prolonged or excessive exposure to moisture can damage the leather. If your crocodile leather gets wet, dry it off with a clean, uncoloured cloth. Let it dry indoors naturally. Don’t expose it to direct sunlight or heat from heaters or hairdryers.
If your crocodile leather gets dirty, gently rub the stain with a clean, damp uncoloured cotton cloth. Excessive rubbing may damage the finish. Do not use any chemical cleaning agents as the solvents may remove the finish from the leather.
For greasy stains, try a light layer of corn starch on the soiled area. After a few hours, brush it off with a clean, dry cloth.
